11월 7일 개최하는 제13회 아시아 법제 전문가 회의에 여러분을 초대하게 되어 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다.

오늘날 우리는 인공지능의 눈부신 발전과 디지털 서비스의 확산이 디지털 경제의 성장을 가속화하는 거대한 흐름 속에 서 있습니다. 

이러한 변화는 새로운 도약의 기회가 되는 한편, 법과 제도의 전면적인 혁신을 요구하고 있습니다.

이에 법제처와 한국법제연구원은 ‘인공지능(AI) 일상화 시대를 대비하기 위한 글로벌 사회의 디지털 경제 법제 현황 및 
법제 발전 방향’이라는 주제로 이번 회의를 마련했습니다. 이번 회의에는 아시아 각국의 정책 입안자와 전문가들이 함께하여,

글로벌 사회의 법제 동향을 살펴보고 각국이 직면한 과제를 공유하며, 디지털 경제의 확산을 위한 

법제 발전 방안을 모색할 것입니다. 

특히, 11월 7일은 아시아 각국이 시대적 입법 과제를 해결하기 위해 힘을 모으는 역사적 첫 걸음으로서 

아시아 법제기구 협의체를 출범시키는 뜻깊은 날입니다.  

아시아의 공동 번영을 도모하고, 지속적 상호 교류의 기반을 다지는 이 자리에 여러분의 깊은 관심과 

적극적인 참여를 부탁드립니다.

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 13th Asian Legislative Experts Symposium (ALES),
which will be held on November 7, 2025.

We are living in a time of rapid transformation, where the remarkable progress of artificial intelligence (AI)
and the expansion of digital services are accelerating the growth of the digital economy.
These changes bring not only great opportunities but also the urgent need for innovation in
our legal and institutional systems.

In this context, the Ministry of Government Legislation and the Korea Legislation Research Institute are
co-hosting this year’s symposium under the theme: “Preparing Digital Economy Legislation in
the Age of Al: Global Trends and Future Directions”

This symposium will bring together policymakers and experts from across Asia to examine global
legal trends, share national challenges, and explore cooperative ways to advance legislation that
supports the digital economy.

Notably, November 7 marks a historic milestone — the official launch of the Council of Asian Legislative Institutions (CALI), a new platform for legislative cooperation and dialogue across Asia.

I sincerely hope this event will strengthen regional collaboration, foster shared prosperity, and lay
the foundation for sustainable legislative exchange across Asia.
